【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청이 오는 3월 16일부터 27일까지 경제적·사회적 위기 상황에 처한 9세부터 24세까지 청소년을 대상으로 ‘2026년 위기청소년 특별지원 사업’ 대상자를 모집한다고 15일 밝혔다.
북구청에 따르면, 이번 사업은 보호자가 없거나 실질적인 보호를 받지 못하는 청소년, 비행이나 일탈을 예방할 지원이 필요한 청소년, 학교 밖이나 은둔형 청소년 등에게 생활·교육·치료 등 맞춤형 지원을 제공하는 데 초점이 맞춰졌다.
지원 대상은 기준중위소득 100% 이하 가구의 청소년이며, 동일한 내용의 다른 제도 지원을 받고 있는 경우에는 신청이 제한된다.
신청 방법은 주소지 관할 동행정복지센터를 직접 방문하거나, 복지로 누리집을 통해 온라인으로 접수하면 된다. 접수 후에는 소득·재산 조사를 비롯해 청소년복지 심의위원회의 심의를 거쳐 최종 지원 대상과 지원 내용이 결정된다. 지원 규모와 형태는 해당 사례별 위기 정도에 따라 차등 적용될 예정이다.
배광식 북구청장은 “경제적 어려움과 사회적 단절로 어려움을 겪는 청소년을 적극적으로 발굴해, 이들이 건강한 지역 사회의 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”며 “현장에서 도움이 절실한 사례가 누락되지 않도록 행정적 지원을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.
