【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국사학진흥재단의 ‘사립대학재정통계’가 국가데이터처가 주관하는 2025년 자체통계품질진단에서 11년 연속 최고 등급인 ‘우수’에 선정됐다.
자체통계품질진단은 국가승인통계 작성기관의 품질관리 수준을 평가하는 제도로, 자체진단 평가와 노력도 평가 점수를 합산해 다섯 단계로 나눈다. 재단은 이번 평가에서 자체진단 98점(100점 만점), 노력도 10점(10점 만점)을 받아 총점 100점으로 ‘우수’ 등급을 획득했다.
재단은 2013년 국가승인통계 작성기관으로 지정된 이후 매년 ‘사립대학재정통계’를 공표해 왔다. 이 통계는 사립대학의 예산·결산 및 기본재산 현황을 주요 항목별로 분석해 정책 수립과 학술 연구의 기초자료로 활용되고 있다. 관련 통계는 국가통계포털과 재단 공식 누리집의 재정통계보고서 메뉴에서 열람 가능하다.
이하운 한국사학진흥재단 이사장은 “대학 재정통계는 정부, 국회, 고등교육 전문가들의 정책 연구에 중요한 토대가 되어 왔으며, 학생과 국민의 알권리 충족에도 이바지해왔다”며 “앞으로도 정확한 재정정보 데이터베이스를 지속적으로 구축해 데이터 기반의 고등교육 혁신을 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
