부평구문화재단에 따르면, 이번 공모는 2021년부터 5년간 추진해 온 법정문화도시 사업이 2025년 종료된 이후에도 그 성과를 이어가 지속가능한 문화도시로 도약하기 위한 취지로 마련됐다.
공모 분야는 꽤 쓸모 있는 도시실험, 부평별곳 등 두 가지 유형이다.
두 유형 모두 2021년부터 주민들의 높은 관심 속에 운영돼 왔으며, 이번 공모를 통해 부평만의 독창적인 문화 생태계를 더욱 공고히 할 계획이다.

총 10개 팀을 선정해 팀당 최대 200만 원의 활동비와 전문가 자문(멘토링) 등 역량 강화 지원을 제공한다.

또한, 부평구청소년수련관이 오는 28일 청소년 대상 실시간 방송 판매(라이브커머스) ‘ON AIR 판매왕!’을 운영하며 참가자를 선착순으로 모집한다고 밝혔다.
청소년수련관에 따르면, 이번 프로그램은 최근 유통 및 미디어 시장의 주요 판매 방식으로 자리 잡은 ‘실시간 방송 판매(라이브커머스)’에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
참가 청소년들은 상품 소개 진행자(쇼호스트)의 역할과 직무 역량을 배우고, 실제 상품 판매 방송을 진행해보는 전 과정을 체험할 수 있다.
