[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 5일 조규일 시장 주재로 간부 공무원이 참석한 가운데 ‘2027년도 국·도비 확보 추진상황 보고회’를 열고 내년도 국·도비 확보 전략과 주요 사업 추진 상황을 점검했다.
이날 시는 정부의 지방 우대 및 지방 자율성 확대 기조에 맞춰 필요한 핵심 사업을 발굴하고, 중앙부처와 경상남도와의 긴밀한 협조체계를 구축해 전략적인 국·도비 확보 방안을 논의했다.
진주시의 오는 2027년도 국·도비 확보 목표액은 올해보다 5% 늘어난 8114억원으로, 지역 미래 성장과 정주 여건 개선을 위한 다양한 사업 추진에 재원을 확보한다는 계획이다.
이번 보고회에서는 미래형 비행체 안전성 평가 인공지능(AI) 플랫폼 구축, 미래 모빌리티 핵심 소재부품 인증 테스트 필드 구축 등 주요 사업 50여 건의 추진 상황을 점검했다.
시는 대한민국 기업가정신관 건립, 천연물 소재 전주기 표준화 허브 구축 등 지역 산업과 문화 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 핵심 사업들의 국·도비 확보 전략도 함께 논의됐다.
조규일 진주시장은 “논의된 사업들이 정부 예산안에 반영될 수 있도록 철저히 이행하고 중앙부처를 수시로 방문해 사업 필요성과 타당성을 적극 설명해 달라”고 당부했다.
한편 진주시는 연초부터 국·도비 확보 특별대책본부를 운영하며 정부 예산 편성과 국회 심의 일정에 맞춰 단계별 확보 활동을 추진하고 있다.
