[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] ‘양산시 승격 30주년과 양산 방문의 해 기념 '삽량(歃良), 위대한 양산' 특별기획전이 6일부터 5월3일까지 양산시립박물관 2층 기획전시실에서 전시된다.
양산시립박물관과 국립경주박물관 공동으로 마련한 이번 전시는 지난 5일 개막식을 갖고 고대 양산의 옛 이름 ‘삽량(歃良)’을 중심으로 삼국시대 전략 요충지였던 이 지역의 역할과 의미를 다각도로 조명한다.
삽량은 신라와 가야가 맞닿은 국경 지대로, 낙동강을 기반으로 교통과 교역의 거점 기능을 수행한 곳이다.
삼국사기에는 이 일대를 황산하로 기록하며 양 세력이 충돌한 최전선으로 전하고 있으며, 5세기 ‘삽량주간’의 존재와 왜의 삽량성 침입 격퇴 기록은 삽량이 신라 국경 방어의 핵심 거점이었음을 보여준다.
이번 전시에서는 국보인 금관총 출토 금관과 금제 허리띠 일괄이 공개되어 큰 관심을 모으고 있다.
