대전시, 무형유산 ‘초고장’·‘국화주’ 제2대 보유자 탄생

대전시가 지역의 소중한 무형유산을 잇는 두 명의 새로운 장인을 공식 인정했다. 대전시는 지난 3일 무형유산 ‘초고장’과 ‘국화주’의 신규 보유자로 각각 양인화 초고장과 송영진 주조장을 지정하고 보유자 증서를 수여했다고 밝혔다.

초고장은 짚풀을 활용해 생활 공예품을 만드는 전통 기술자이며, 국화주는 조선시대 학자 송준길의 후손가에서 전승돼온 전통 가양주다. 두 종목 모두 대전시 무형유산으로 지정돼 있으나, 기존 보유자들이 별세하면서 한동안 공석으로 남아 있었다.

이번에 새로 인정된 양인화 보유자와 송영진 보유자는 각각 고(故) 양중규 초고장, 고(故) 김정순 국화주 보유자의 자녀다. 두 사람은 1990년대 중반부터 각 가문에서 전수받은 기술을 이어오며, 수십 년간 전통의 맥을 지켜왔다.
