대전교통공사가 유효기간 임박한 화재대피마스크 191개를 미리 교체하며 도시철도 안전망을 강화한다. 리튬배터리 화재 등 신종 위험에도 전국 최초 대응 장비를 배치해 시민 골든타임을 확보한다.

역사 내 비상구호물품도 탄탄하다. 화재대피마스크 946개, 구조손수건 7,920개, 생수 176개, 마른수건 8,800개, 공기호흡기 143개, 소화기 664개, 손전등 2,208개가 승강장·대합실에 체계 배치됐다. 전국 최초로 22개 전 역사에 초소형 산소호흡기 276개를 설치 운영 중이다.
