대전광역시 의정회가 9일 오후 대전시청 소통실에서 회장 이·취임식을 개최하고 송인숙 신임 회장 체제의 막을 올렸다.
전직 대전시의원들의 모임인 의정회는 송인숙 신임 회장의 취임과 함께 새로운 리더십을 바탕으로 지역 발전의 견인차 역할을 다짐했다.
이날 행사에는 이장우 대전시장을 비롯해 조원휘 대전시의장, 서철모 서구청장, 최충규 대덕구청장, 이양희 전 의원 등 지역 정·관계 주요 인사 150여 명이 대거 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
참석자들은 지난 임기 동안 의정회를 이끈 박세열 이임 회장의 노고를 격려하고, 새롭게 지휘봉을 잡은 송인숙 회장의 출발을 축하했다.

제16대 회장으로 추대된 송인숙 회장은 취임사에서 “그동안 의정회 활동을 위해 헌신하신 박세열 회장님과 임원 여러분의 노고에 깊은 감사를 드린다”며 “전직 의원들의 풍부한 경험과 지혜를 모아 대전시정이 올바른 방향으로 나아갈 수 있도록 돕고, 더욱 발전하는 의정회를 만드는 데 모든 역량을 쏟겠다”고 강조했다.
송인숙 신임 회장은 제4대 대전광역시의원을 지낸 의정 전문가로, 지역 사회에서 폭넓은 활동을 이어온 인물이다.

송 회장은 제4대 대전광역시의원, 대전광역시 새마을부회장, 충남 여성단체협의회장, 대전여자고등학교 총동창회장, 공주사대 동문회장 등 학경력을 가지고 있다.
윤용대 대전시의정회 사무총장은 "의정회는 이번 회장 이·취임식을 기점으로 지역 발전을 위한 정책 제언 및 자문 활동에 더욱 박차를 가할 계획이다"라며 신임 회장 취임과 함께 의정회 발전에 변화가 올 수 있음을 시사했다..
