안장헌 아산시장 예비후보가 9일 아산시의 과도한 지방채 발행과 비효율적인 재정 운용 실태를 강도 높게 비판하며, 국비 확보를 통한 재정 정상화를 핵심 공약으로 내걸었다.
충남도의회 예산결산특별위원장을 지낸 예산 전문가로서의 역량을 강조하며 시정의 체질 개선을 예고한 것이다.
안 예비후보는 행정안전부의 최신 지방채무 현황 자료를 근거로 아산시의 재정 건전성에 경고등이 켜졌음을 알렸다. 안 예비후보에 따르면 현재 아산시의 채무비율은 5.9%로, 전국 기초지방정부 평균인 1.43%와 비교해 4배 이상 높은 수준이다.
