충남 아산의 한 메추리 농장에서 조류인플루엔자(AI) 항원이 검출되어 방역 당국에 비상이 걸렸다. 지난 2월 5일 이후 32일 만에 도내에서 다시 발생한 것으로, 봄철 영농기 시작과 맞물려 추가 확산 차단을 위한 고강도 방역 조치가 시행된다.
충남도는 지난 9일 저녁 10시경, 아산시 도고면에 위치한 A 메추리 농장에서 H5형 AI 항원이 검출됐다고 밝혔다. 해당 농장은 메추리 24만여 수를 사육 중이었으며, 농장주가 폐사 급증을 신고함에 따라 정밀 검사를 실시한 결과 항원이 확인됐다. 고병원성 여부에 대한 최종 판정은 농림축산검역본부의 의뢰를 거쳐 약 1~3일 뒤 나올 예정이다.
