김태흠 지사 “통합 논의 미완, 정치적 입지보다 도민의 뜻이 우선”

김태흠 충남도지사가 10일 장동혁 국민의힘 대표의 충남 방문과 관련해 “대전·충남 통합 문제는 아직 아무것도 정리되지 않은 ‘미완의 상태’”라며 “개인의 정치적 입지보다 도민과 시민을 위한 올바른 방향을 고민하겠다”고 밝혔다.

그는 특히 “재원 마련 대책도 없는 ‘5조 인센티브’ 같은 말잔치보다는 지방세 비율 확대와 권한 이양이라는 본질에 집중해야 한다”며 “조금 늦더라도 바르게 가겠다. 앙꼬 없는 찐빵을 도민께 내놓을 수는 없다”고 강조했다.
