【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군가족센터가 결혼이민자들의 취업 역량 강화를 위한 ‘의료통번역사 양성과정’ 개설에 따라 참가자를 모집한다.
이번 양성과정은 지난해 운영된 병원동행매니저 자격증반의 전문성을 높이고, 맹동면 국립소방병원 개원으로 예상되는 외국인 주민의 의료통번역 수요 증가에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육 대상은 국내 거주 3년 이상 다문화 이주여성 10명으로, 모집 기간은 3월 25일까지이다.
교육은 오는 4월 3일부터 6월 19일까지 매주 금요일마다 음성군가족센터 금왕분소에서 4시간씩 진행될 예정이다. 자세한 교육 일정은 음성군가족센터 금왕분소로 문의하면 된다.
교육을 성공적으로 마친 교육생들은 자격증을 취득한 후, 종합병원, 가족센터, 외국인 노동자 지원센터, 보건소 등에서 의료 상담 및 통역 지원 업무를 할 수 있다.
이번 과정을 통해 외국인의 의료 접근성이 향상되고 병원 의료진 업무에 도움이 되는 한편, 결혼이민자들의 경제적 안정에도 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
김형수 복지정책과장은 “의료통번역사 양성과정을 통해 앞으로 결혼이민자들이 지역 사회의 다양한 분야에서 소통의 다리 역할을 펼쳐 나갈 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
한편 음성군가족센터는 모든 가족의 건강한 기능화를 위한 가족지원서비스 핵심기관으로, 앞으로도 결혼이민자가 참여할 수 있는 다양한 취업 지원 프로그램을 제공할 예정이다.

The Eumseong County Family Center is recruiting participants for its "Medical Interpreter Training Course," designed to strengthen the employment capabilities of marriage immigrants.
