증평군가족센터, 다문화 강사 양성·파견 프로그램 운영

【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군가족센터는 11일 다문화 이해 교육의 효과성을 높이기 위해 ‘다문화 강사 양성·파견’프로그램 운영을 시작했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 5월 14일까지 진행되며, 중국, 일본 등 8개국 출신의 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 매주 수·목요일, 20회 과정으로 운영된다. 

참가자들은 다문화 강사로서 학생들을 지도하는 데 필요한 교수법과 문화 이해 교육, 강의 기획 등 실질적인 교육 역량을 집중적으로 배우게 된다.

특히 교육 수료 후에는 지역 어린이를 대상으로 다문화 인식 개선과 문화 친화 활동을 진행하는‘찾아가는 다이음’ 프로그램의 예비 강사로 활동할 수 있도록 지원한다. 

센터는 이번 프로그램을 통해 결혼이민자의 사회 참여 기회를 확대하는 동시에 지역사회 내 다문화 이해와 공존 문화를 확산하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

군 관계자는 “결혼이민자들이 지역사회 구성원으로 역량을 발휘하고 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 자립 지원과 다문화 인식 개선을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
