세종시의회, 마지막 임시회 11일 개회

세종시의회는 11일 제104회 임시회를 개회하고 이날 제1차 본회의를 시작으로 23일까지 13일간 회기를 진행한다.

임채성 의장은 이날 개회사를 통해 “국제 정세가 불안정한 상황에 놓여있지만, 이럴 때일수록 민생을 지키고 지역의 미래를 준비하는 정책을 추진해야 한다”며, “경제흐름을 되찾고 세종시가 국가균형발전의 중심도시로 자리매김할 수 있도록 지방정부와 지방의회가 힘과 지혜를 모아야 한다”고 말했다.

 이어 임 의장은 “이번 제104회 임시회는 사실상 제4대 의회를 마무리하는 마지막 회기이다”며, “그동안 추진해 온 정책과 사업을 다시 한번 점검하고, 미진한 과제는 끝까지 책임 있게 챙겨주시길 바란다”라고 강조했다.

 이날 본회의에서는 최원석·이순열·김재형·김현옥 총 4명의 의원이 5분 자유발언을 통해 정책 대안을 제시했다. 아울러 시정질문을 위해 관계 공무원의 출석을 요구하는 등 총 3건의 안건이 처리됐다.

 한편, 이번 제104회 임시회 제2차 본회의는 오는 12일 열린다. 2차 본회의에서는 최원석·홍나영·박란희·김재형 의원이 5분 자유발언을 통해 정책 방향을 제언한다. 또한 김현미 의원이 시정질문으로 시정 현안에 대한 제언을 이어 나갈 전망이며, ‘무분별한 국가기관 이전 요구 규탄 및 행정수도 사수를 위한 결의안(최원석 의원 대표발의)’이 상정될 예정이다.

Representative Kim Hyun-mi is expected to continue her proposals on current city issues through policy questions.
