여성·청년·신인 기회 확대… 11일부터 7일간 추가 공모
도덕성·정체성 등 심사 체계 강화… 현재까지 38명 접수

더불어민주당 세종특별자치시당 공직선거후보자추천관리위원회(위원장 봉정현, 이하 공관위)가 제9회 지방선거를 앞두고 부적격 후보와 부정부패를 원천 차단하는 ‘4無(무)’ 원칙을 선언했다.
공관위는 10일 시당 대회의실에서 제3차 회의를 열고 공천 심사 기준 강화와 후보자 추가 공모를 골자로 한 의결 사항을 발표했다.
공관위는 이번 선거에서 정치적 다양성을 확보하고 역량 있는 인재 풀을 넓히기 위해 후보자 추가 공모를 진행하기로 했다. 특히 여성과 청년, 정치 신인들에게 더 넓은 문호를 개방해 혁신적인 공천을 이끌어내겠다는 구상이다.
추가 공모는 온라인 공천관리 시스템을 통해 접수하며, 기간은 3월 11일 오전 9시부터 17일 오후 6시까지 일주일간 진행된다.
이번 공천의 핵심 기조는 중앙당과 시·도당 공관위원장 연석회의에서 확정된 ‘4無 원칙’이다.
공관위는 부적격 후보 배제 ,억울한 컷오프 방지 ,낙하산 공천 금지 ,부정부패 엄단을 공천의 절대 원칙으로 삼고, 가장 민주적인 경선 절차를 통해 경쟁력 있는 후보를 선출할 방침이다.
심사 방식도 한층 까다로워진다. 공관위는 후보자의 도덕성과 당 정체성, 기여도 등을 중심으로 심사 체계를 정교화했다. 심사 기준과 절차를 명확히 공개해 공정성 시비를 차단하고, 후보자들이 심사 결과를 예측할 수 있도록 신뢰도를 높인다는 계획이다.
현재까지 세종시당에 접수된 지역구 후보자는 총 38명(비례대표 제외)으로 집계됐다. 공관위는 접수된 서류의 기재 내용을 면밀히 확인하고 관리 체계를 정비하는 등 본격적인 검증 준비를 마쳤다.
