【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시교육청은 고교학점제 안착을 지원하기 위해 ‘1학기 공동교육과정’ 수강신청을 오는 12일부터 17일까지 온라인으로 받는다고 11일 밝혔다.
공동교육과정은 학생들이 한 학교에서 개설하기 어려운 선택과목을 여러 학교가 함께 운영하는 정규 교육과정이다. 학생들은 소속 학교에 없는 과목도 온라인이나 다른 학교 수업을 통해 들을 수 있어, 자신의 진로와 적성에 맞는 과목을 선택할 수 있다.
이번 1학기에는 일반계고에서 온라인 29강좌, 오프라인 171강좌 등 모두 200강좌가 개설되며, 직업계고에서도 오프라인 21강좌가 운영된다. 세계사, 세계시민과 지리, 지구과학 등 일반선택 과목도 포함돼 학생들의 기초 학습 기회가 넓어졌다.
수강 대상은 고등학교 2·3학년 학생이며, 1학년은 1학기 동안 진로 탐색을 한 뒤 2학기부터 신청할 수 있다.
수강 신청은 공동교육과정 누리집에서 온라인으로 가능하며, 신청 기간은 3월 12일 오후 6시부터 17일 오후 6시까지다. 수업은 3월 20일부터 시작되며, 일부 강좌는 여름방학 중에도 운영된다.
모집 인원이 초과될 경우, 과목 담당 교사가 제출된 수강계획서와 전화 면접 등을 통해 참여 학생을 선발한다. 최종 수강 대상자는 개별 안내할 예정이다.
지난해에는 72개 학교에서 4,828명의 학생이 공동교육과정에 참여해 총 323개 강좌가 운영됐다. 만족도 조사 결과, 참여도, 진로 연계성, 학습 이해도, 강사 만족도, 추천도 등 5개 영역에서 96% 이상의 학생이 긍정적으로 답했다.
강은희 대구시교육감은 “공동교육과정을 통해 학생들의 과목 선택권을 넓히고, 자기주도적 진로 설계 역량을 키울 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
