대전광역시의회 복지환경위원회가 장애인 주간 이용시설의 운영 현실을 점검하는 간담회를 열고 인력 확충과 재정 지원 현실화를 촉구했다.
11일 시의회 소통실에서 열린 이 간담회는 이효성 의원(국민의힘, 대덕구1)이 좌장을 맡아 주최했으며, 대전장애인주간이용시설협회 관계자와 시설장, 대전시 장애인복지과장 등이 참석해 현장 목소리를 나눴다.
유근선 대전장애인주간이용시설협회장은 이용자 증가와 서비스 수요 확대에 맞춰 종사자 인력을 늘려야 한다며, 보건복지부 기준에 맞춘 운영비 지원과 사회복지시설 종사자 인건비 수준의 처우 개선을 최우선 과제로 제시했다.

참석자들은 “장애인 낮 시간 돌봄과 사회참여가 지역 복지의 핵심인데, 현재 인력·재정 부족으로 서비스 질이 위협받고 있다”고 지적했다.
이효성 의원은 “이 시설들은 장애인과 가족의 필수 생활 인프라”라며 “오늘 논의된 의견을 반영해 의회 차원에서 제도 개선을 추진하겠다”고 약속했다. 그는 “안정적 운영을 위한 인력 충원과 예산 현실화가 시급하다”고 덧붙였다.

The Daejeon Metropolitan City Council's Welfare and Environment Committee held a meeting to review the operational status of daytime facilities for persons with disabilities and urged increased staffing and more realistic financial support.
The meeting, held in the city council's communication room on the 11th, was chaired by Council Member Lee Hyo-seong (People Power Party, Daedeok District 1). Representatives from the Daejeon Association of Daytime Facilities for Persons with Disabilities, facility directors, and the Daejeon City Disability Welfare Division Director attended to share their perspectives.
