대전광역시시설관리공단(이하 공단) 대전추모공원이 시민 생활패턴 변화에 발맞춰 봉안당 개방시간을 확대한다.
공단에 따르면 4월 1일부터 기존 오전 9시에서 1시간 앞당겨 오전 8시부터 전 구간 개방한다.
이번 조치는 출근 전 짬을 내 방문하는 직장인과 타 지역 장거리 이용객의 편의를 최우선으로 고려했다.
명절·공휴일 교통 지옥을 분산시켜 주변 혼잡을 줄이고, 조용한 추모 분위기를 만들려는 취지다. 공단은 “시민 목소리를 반영한 열린 서비스”라며 3월 한 달간 SNS·현수막·장사시설 네트워크로 집중 홍보에 나선다.
대전추모공원 관계자는 “누구나 부담 없이 방문할 수 있도록 지속 개선하겠다”고 밝혔다.
