대전시는 3월 12일 오후 3시부터 5시 30분까지 구 충남도청 대회의실에서 ‘2026년도 대전시 현업업무 담당 공무원 산업안전보건 직무교육’을 진행했다.
이번 교육은 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 실무 중심 프로그램으로, 본청과 직속기관, 사업소 등에서 근로자를 지원하는 담당 공무원 90명이 참여했다.
교육은 관리감독자의 법적 책임과 산업재해 발생 시 신속한 보고와 응급조치, 현장 안전보건 관리체계, 위험 기계설비 안전 조치, 작업복과 보호구 점검 등의 내용으로 구성됐다.
특히 기존의 법령 위주 교육을 넘어 실제 공공 현장에서 발생한 사고 사례와 관리 취약점을 중심으로 교육하면서 업무별 사고 대응 능력 강화에 초점을 맞췄다.
신동헌 시민안전실장은 “현업 담당 공무원들이 산업재해 예방과 안전관리 핵심 역할을 수행한다”며 “이번 교육을 통해 현장 대응 역량을 높여 안전한 작업환경 조성에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
대전시는 앞으로도 매년 관리감독자 교육과 실무 맞춤형 테마 교육을 병행해 소속 근로자들이 안전하게 근무할 수 있도록 체계적인 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.
