[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 사천시시설관리공단이 운영하는 사천바다케이블카가 약 3주간의 정기 점검과 대정비를 성공적으로 마치고 13일부터 정상 운행에 들어간다.
사천바다케이블카는 지난 2월 23일부터 3월 12일까지 이용객의 안전을 최우선으로 확보하고 시설의 안정성을 강화하기 위해 대대적인 정비 작업을 실시했다.
이번 정비의 핵심은 글로벌 기술력 도입과 철저한 검증이다.
제작사인 프랑스 포마사 기술진이 직접 참여해 2주간 케이블카의 핵심 설비인 지삭 위치 이동 작업을 진행했다.
이는 특정 구간에 집중된 하중을 고르게 분산시켜 케이블의 수명을 연장하고 안전성을 높이는 필수 작업이다.
이어 1주간은 한국교통안전공단의 정기 안전검사를 통해 전체적인 설비 상태를 면밀히 점검하며 대외적인 신뢰도를 확보했다.
한재천 이사장은 "안전을 최우선으로 이용객들이 안심하고 쾌적하게 케이블카를 즐길 수 있도록 정기적인 점검과 예방 정비에 만전을 기하고 있다"며 "운행 재개 이후에도 철저한 안전 관리를 통해 누구나 믿고 찾을 수 있는 대한민국 최고의 관광 명소로 거듭나겠다"고 밝혔다.
