[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시는 12일 양산비즈니스센터 컨벤션홀에서 '2030 녹색도시 양산' 비전 선포식과 탄소중립 실천단 발대식을 개최하고, 지속가능한 녹색도시로의 본격적인 전환을 공식 선언했다.
이날 행사에는 시의원, 유관기관·사회단체, 환경 관련 기업체, 시민 등 400여 명이 참석해 양산시의 녹색도시 비전과 향후 실행계획을 공유했다.
나동연 양산시장은 기후위기 대응과 생태환경 보전, 생활환경 개선, 자원순환 확대, 기반조성 등 5개 핵심 부문을 중심으로 한 종합 환경 전략인 '2030 녹색도시 양산' 비전을 발표하며 도시 전반에 걸친 환경 변화의 방향과 구체적인 실천 전략을 시민들에게 공개했다.
이번 비전 발표는 단순한 정책 선언을 넘어, 양산시 2030 녹색도시 로드맵을 토대로 2030년까지 시민이 삶 속에서 직접 체감할 수 있는 실질적 변화를 실행계획으로 담아냈다는 점에서 의미가 크다.
특히 이 로드맵은 환경 분야에 국한된 계획이 아니라 도시개발, 산업, 교통, 생활환경 등 양산시정 전반을 아우르는 통합 전략으로 수립되어 도시의 지속가능한 발전 방향을 제시하고 있다는 점에서도 주목된다.
