[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군은 경상남도가 주관한 '2026년 지방세정 종합평가'에서 우수상을 수상해 특별조정교부금 1억 2000만원을 확보했다고 12일 밝혔다.

특히 이번 수상으로 산청군은 4년 연속 수상의 쾌거를 이루며 우수한 세무 행정 역량을 입증했다.

도내 18개 시군을 대상으로 실시한 이번 평가는 2025년도 지방세 부과 징수, 체납액 정리실적, 납세자 구제제도 등 5개 분야 19개 항목을 종합적으로 점검해 이뤄졌다.

산청군은 지난해 특별재난지역 선포 등 어려운 여건 속에서도 적극적인 세무조사를 통해 누락 세원을 발굴하고 납세자 중심의 행정 서비스를 제공한 공로를 인정받았다.

아울러 철저한 세원 관리와 번호판 영치 등 고질 체납 관리 노력에서 높은 평가를 받았으며 체납액 정리 분야에서는 도 평균을 상회하는 우수한 성과를 거뒀다.
