【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군이 변화하는 농업 환경에 대응하고 지역 농업의 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 2026년 진천군농업인대학 교육생을 모집한다.
군 농업기술센터는 지역 농업인의 전문 역량을 강화하고 미래 농업을 이끌 인재를 양성하기 위해 오는 3월 20일까지 교육생 40명을 모집한다.
올해 농업인대학은 단순한 재배 기술 교육을 넘어 실질적인 농가 소득 창출에 초점을 맞춘 것이 특징이다.
교육 과정은 농업인의 관심이 높은 △농업유통마케팅 과정 △딸기 과정 등 2개 전문 과정으로 운영된다.
농업유통마케팅 과정은 농산물 유통 구조 이해, 온라인 마케팅 전략, 브랜드 개발 등 농산물 판로 확대를 위한 실무 중심 교육으로 구성됐다.
이를 통해 농업인이 직접 생산물을 효과적으로 홍보하고 판매할 수 있는 역량을 강화할 계획이다.
딸기 과정은 겨울철 농가 소득 작목으로 주목받는 딸기의 고품질 생산 기술과 병해충 관리는 물론 스마트농업 기술 등 현장 중심의 전문 교육을 진행한다.
모집 인원은 과정별 20명씩 총 40명이며, 신청 대상은 진천군에 거주하거나 관내에서 영농에 종사하는 농업인(예정자 포함)이면 누구나 지원할 수 있다.
교육은 이론 학습과 현장 실습을 병행해 교육 효과를 높일 예정이다.
장병옥 군 농촌지원과장은 “이번 교육이 농업인의 전문성을 높이고 실질적인 소득 향상으로 이어져 지역 농업의 경쟁력 강화에 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
