대전시교육청은 13일 지역사회와 손잡고 학생 성장 지원 방안을 모색하기 위해 ‘2026년 대전행복이음교육지구 네트워크 협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협의회는 학교와 마을이 함께하는 교육공동체 활성화를 주요 의제로 다뤘다.
‘대전행복이음교육지구’는 대전시교육청과 동·서부교육지원청, 5개 자치구가 협약을 통해 지정한 지역 기반 교육협력 사업이다. 사업의 핵심은 학교 교육을 지역사회의 자원과 연결해 학생들에게 다양한 배움의 기회를 제공하는 것이다.
이날 회의에서는 자치구별로 추진 중인 교육협력 과제들이 공유됐으며, 학교-마을 연계 교육과정 품질 제고 ,학교와 지역의 협력 시스템 강화 ,자치구 합동 ‘마을교육공동체 사업설명회’ 운영 방안 등이 논의됐다.
교육청 관계자는 “지역의 특성과 필요에 맞는 프로그램을 마련해 마을교육생태계를 더욱 촘촘히 구축하겠다”고 전했다.
한편 교육청은 올해 5개 자치구에 총 7억5천만 원의 예산을 투입해 마을교육 활성화를 지원한다. 예산은 마을연계 교육과정, 학교 밖 배움터, 마을이음동아리 등 65개 세부 사업에 사용되며, 연말까지 단계적으로 추진될 예정이다.
