대전시가 리얼 야구 예능 ‘불꽃야구2’를 올해 한밭야구장에 유치하며, 콘텐츠와 관광을 결합한 도시 마케팅을 본격화한다.
대전시에 따르면 13일 시청에서 이장우 시장, 스튜디오 C1 장시원 PD, ㈜국대 김원석 회장이 ‘한밭야구장 우선 사용’ 3자 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
지난해 화제를 모은 ‘불꽃야구’ 후속작으로, 은퇴 레전드와 고교·대학·독립구단이 맞붙는 이 프로그램은 스튜디오 C1 플랫폼에서 방송된다. 대전시는 행정 지원과 시설 대관을 맡고, 스튜디오 C1은 제작·홍보, ㈜국대는 운영·관리 실무를 담당한다.
2026 시즌에는 공개 모집 선수로 구성된 팀이 한밭야구장에서 촬영·직관 경기를 펼친다. 1964년 개장한 이 구장은 유소년 대회부터 프로 이벤트까지 아우르는 대전 야구의 성지로 재탄생할 전망이다.
