권기식 회장은 기조발언에서 "한중 양국은 교류를 통해 서로 발전하고 성장할 수 있다. 한중도시우호협회는 한중 교류와 협력의 플랫폼으로서 상하이경제협력센터와 상하이문화교류센터를 중심으로 한중 기업들의 협력과 문화ㆍ청소년 교류를 적극 추진할 것이다. 상하이와 하이난(海南) 등에서 매년 기업 교류회를 하고, 오는 9월 난징미술관을 시작으로 한중 수교 34주년 기념 중국 순회미술전도 추진할 계획이다."라고 말했다. 유성훈 서울 금천구청장과 주잉화 상하이 해외발전서비스센터 처장 등이 축사를 통해 한중 기업ㆍ문화 교류를 강조했다.
행사 1부에서는 천핑 상하이시 민영경제연구회 부회장과 쉬펑 상하이시 신용촉진센터 부주임, 훼이춘건설그룹 회장, 정민구 코트라 상하이 무역관 차장 등이 한중 경제협력 방안에 대해 발표했다. 2부에서는 개별 기업 소개와 협력 방안 논의, 한중 수교 34주년 기념 중국 순회미술전시회 소개 등이 이어졌다.
