이재명 대통령이 14일 '2026 밀라노·코르티나담페초 동계패럴림픽'에서 메달 4개를 딴 김윤지 선수에게 “개인전 단일 대회 최다 메달 새 역사를 썼다”며 축하를 건넸다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 페이스북에 “김윤지 선수의 네 번째 메달을 축하한다”며 이같이 적었다.
그러면서 “첫 올림픽 출전 사실이 믿기지 않을 만큼 놀라운 성과”라며 “이번 대회서 거둔 네 번째 메달로 김윤지 선수는 동계·하계·올림픽·패럴림픽 통틀어 단일 대회 개인 최다 메달 기록·타이를 이뤘다”고 했다.
또 “특히 개인전 종목으로만 보면 단일 대회 최다 메달이란 새 역사를 썼다”며 "앞으로 예정된 크로스컨트리 여자 20km 인터벌 스타트에서도 지금까지 그랬듯 최고 기량을 발휘하길 기대한다”고 전했다. 김 선수는 오는 15일(현지시간) 크로스컨트리 스키 20㎞ 인터벌 스타트 경기를 앞두고 있다.
