6·3 지방선거에서 아산시장직에 도전하는 안장헌 더불어민주당 예비후보가 ‘AI 대전환’을 핵심 키워드로 내건 시정 혁신 구상을 발표했다.
안 후보는 15일 자료를 통해 “구호에 머무는 시정이 아니라, 인공지능 전략으로 설계되는 실질적 혁신 행정을 만들겠다”며 시장 직속 ‘AI정책보좌관’ 신설과 시청 내 전담 컨트롤타워 구축 등을 주요 공약으로 제시했다.
안장헌 후보는 “관성적 행정으로는 아산의 미래를 선도할 수 없다”며 “이재명 정부가 추진하는 국가적 ‘AI 대전환’ 흐름에 맞춰 지방정부 차원의 과감한 체질 개선이 필요하다”고 강조했다.
이어 “서류 행정, 보여주기식 정책을 멈추고 AI 기반의 데이터 행정으로 아산시를 완전히 바꾸겠다”고도 말했다.
안 후보가 내세운 공약의 핵심은 AI 기술을 중심으로 한 행정과 산업의 전면 개편이다.
그는 시장 직속 보좌관과 전담부서를 신설해 행정 혁신을 총괄하는 AX(AI Transformation) 컨트롤타워를 구축하고, 반도체·디스플레이·자동차 등 아산의 핵심 산업에 특화된 ‘버티컬 AI’ 연구개발을 적극 지원하겠다는 방침을 밝혔다.

또한 그는 신중년 세대의 전문성을 산업 현장과 AI 교육에 연계하는 ‘경험 자산화’ 정책을 추진하고, 청년창업지원센터를 통해 아이디어 발굴부터 판로 개척까지 원스톱 지원 체계를 마련하겠다고 약속했다.
이와 함께 다문화·외국인 전담 부서를 신설하고 ‘글로벌 센터’를 건립해 외국인 인재 정주 여건을 개선, 글로벌 도시로서의 기반도 강화하겠다고 덧붙였다.
안 후보는 이번 공약을 통해 제조 기반 산업의 첨단 지식산업화 ,AI 민원 솔루션 도입 등 시민 체감형 행정혁신 ,청년·신중년 일자리 창출 등을 구체적 성과로 제시하며 “AI로 설계하고 혁신으로 도약하는 글로벌 경제도시 아산의 첫걸음을 시민과 함께 내딛겠다”고 강조했다.
