대전테크노파크(이하 대전TP)가 지역 국방·드론 기업들의 기술 경쟁력을 강화하고 방산시장 진출을 돕기 위해 총 17억 1천만 원 규모의 지원사업을 본격 추진한다.
대전TP는 오는 24일까지 '대전 방산혁신클러스터 국방·드론분야 기술사업화 지원사업'에 참여할 유망 중소기업 15개사를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
이 사업은 기술력은 뛰어나지만 시장 진입 장벽에 부딪힌 지역 기업들을 대상으로 하며, 기존 방산 기업뿐 아니라 국방 분야 신규 진입을 희망하는 기업까지 지원 범위를 확대해 산업 생태계 확장을 노린다.
지원 내용은 세 가지 패키지로 나뉜다. 먼저 '사업화 패키지'는 6개사에 6억 원을 투입해 비즈니스 모델 발굴과 시제품 제작을 돕는다.
'고도화 패키지'는 6개사에 6.6억 원으로 지식재산권 창출과 제품 고도화를 지원하며, '제품화 패키지'는 3개사에 4.5억 원 규모로 교육용 상용 드론 개발에 집중한다.
모든 패키지에 국내외 인증 및 시험장비 사용료가 포함돼 기업들의 실질적 비용 부담을 줄여줄 예정이다.
김우연 원장은 "이번 사업으로 대전 국방·드론 기업들이 기술력을 바탕으로 국내외 방산시장에 성공적으로 안착할 수 있도록 최선의 지원을 하겠다"고 강조했다.
