음성군, 국립소방병원과 공공보건의료체계 강화 협약 체결

이번 협약은 그동안 2차 종합병원이 없고 특수검진을 시행할 의료기관이 없는 의료 취약지역으로 분류돼 온 지역의 한계를 극복하고, 군민들의 의료 서비스 접근성을 개선하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 협약에 따라 양 기관은 △음성군민의 건강증진 및 양질의 의료서비스 제공 △지역 공공보건의료체계 강화를 위한 의료서비스 연계 및 지원 △응급·재난의료 대응체계 구축 △감염병 및 공중보건 위기 상황 공동 대응 △음성군민의 의료접근성 향상 및 수탁병원과의 신속한 진료연계 등에 상호 협력하기로 했다.

특히 협약을 통해 의료 취약 여건을 보완하고 군민의 생명권을 보호하는 강력한 지역 의료안전망이 구축될 것으로 전망된다. 더불어 응급·재난 상황, 감염병 확산, 공중보건 위기 등 비상 상황에서도 국립소방병원과 공동 대응할 수 있는 협력체계가 마련돼 지역 공공보건 의료체계 역시 더욱 견고해질 것으로 보인다.
