청소년들이 어렵고 딱딱하게만 느끼던 '법'의 테두리에서 벗어나, 사회질서의 진정한 가치를 몸소 체험하고 법 관련 진로를 탐색하는 특별한 장이 열렸다.
법무부 대전솔로몬로파크는 16일, 중학생들을 위한 맞춤형 법 교육 프로그램인 제1회 중학생 법진로 캠프 '정의로운 사회를 만드는 법'을 본격적으로 시작했다.
이번 캠프의 첫 주인공은 충북 청주 문의중학교 학생 33명으로, 이들은 인솔 교사와 함께 법연수관과 법체험관을 오가며 열띤 학습의 장을 만들었다.
이번 캠프는 교육 콘텐츠 전문 기업인 ㈜프리하라와 협력하여 청소년들의 눈높이에 맞춘 감각적인 프로그램들로 가득 채워졌다. 학생들은 단순히 이론을 암기하는 방식에서 벗어나 현장감 넘치는 실습에 몰입했다.
현장 밀착형 견학: 모의국회와 모의법정, 과학수사 현장을 그대로 재현한 법체험관에서 법 집행 과정을 생생하게 경험했다.
놀이로 배우는 법: 협동을 통해 법의 기능을 이해하는 ‘법타워 챌린지’, 게임을 통해 국가기관의 역할을 익히는 ‘법치사회 직업카드게임’ 등이 학생들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
범죄 예방의 재발견: 헌법의 가치와 범죄 예방 설계(CPTED) 개념을 결합한 교육을 통해, 법이 우리 안전과 얼마나 밀접한지를 확인했다. 특히 전문가와 함께하는 '몽타주 제작 체험'은 미래 과학수사관을 꿈꾸는 학생들에게 잊지 못할 경험을 선사했다.
