초·중등용 맞춤형 가이드북 제작… 환각 현상·개인정보 침해 예방 주력

대전광역시교육청이 학교 현장에서 급속도로 확산 중인 생성형 인공지능(AI)을 교사와 학생이 안전하고 책임 있게 활용할 수 있도록 '생성형 AI 초보 교사를 위한 가이드라인'을 개발해 관내 모든 학교에 배포했다.
이번 가이드라인은 AI 기술의 편리함 뒤에 숨은 위험 요소를 사전에 차단하고, 교육적 가치를 극대화하기 위해 마련됐다.
생성형 AI는 수업의 질을 높일 수 있는 강력한 도구지만, 잘못된 정보를 사실처럼 제시하는 '환각(Hallucination) 현상'이나 개인정보 유출, 저작권 침해, AI 과의존 등의 부작용 우려가 꾸준히 제기되어 왔다.
이에 교육청은 교사들이 명확한 기준 아래 AI를 수업에 도입할 수 있도록 초등용과 중등용 2종의 맞춤형 안내서를 제작했다.
가이드라인은 생성형 AI의 기본 개념부터 실제 수업 적용 사례, 안전한 활용 수칙에 이르기까지 전 과정을 단계별로 상세히 담았다. 특히 수업 전 준비 단계부터 실제 실행, 수업 후 점검까지 교사가 반드시 지켜야 할 실천 기준을 구체화한 것이 특징이다.
또한 개인정보 보호법과 저작권법, AI 윤리 지침 등 관련 법령을 준수하며 공정하게 기술을 활용할 수 있도록 돕는 유의 사항과 자가 진단 체크리스트를 수록해 실효성을 높였다.
교육청이 이번 가이드라인에서 가장 강조하는 지점은 '안전한 교육적 활용'이다. AI가 출력한 정보를 무비판적으로 수용하지 않고 비판적으로 검토하는 절차를 명시했으며, 학생의 개인정보 입력 금지 및 익명화 원칙을 철저히 하도록 했다.
무엇보다 AI에만 의존하는 것이 아니라, 학생 스스로의 사고와 AI 활용이 균형을 이루는 수업 설계 방법을 제시함으로써 학생들의 문제 해결력과 비판적 사고력을 키우는 데 중점을 두었다.
대전시교육청은 이번 가이드라인 배포를 기점으로 AI와 디지털에 기반한 교육 자료 지원을 지속적으로 확대할 방침이다. 이를 통해 교사의 디지털 교수·학습 역량을 강화하고, 학교 현장에 안정적인 AI 활용 환경이 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 적극 지원할 계획이다.
김영진 과학직업정보과장은 "이번 가이드라인은 교사들이 학교 현장에서 생성형 AI를 안전하게 다룰 수 있게 돕는 실질적인 나침반이 될 것"이라며 "학생들이 AI를 올바르게 활용하며 창의성과 비판적 사고력을 균형 있게 기를 수 있도록 촘촘한 현장 지원을 이어가겠다"라고 밝혔다.
