시에 따르면 총사업비 4,689억 원 규모의 상·하수도 국비사업 30건이 현재 추진 중이거나 완료된 상태다.
사업 시기별로는 2018년부터 2021년까지 8건, 1,781억 원 규모의 사업이 추진됐으며, 2022년부터 2026년까지는 22건, 2,908억 원 규모의 사업이 확보돼 진행되고 있다.
분야별로는 상수도 분야 11건에 2,313억 원, 하수도 분야 19건에 2,376억 원이 투입된다. 주요 사업으로는 노후 정수장 정비와 관망 현대화, 하수처리장 증설, 하수관거 정비 등 시민 생활과 직결되는 도시 필수 기반시설 개선 사업이 포함돼 있다.
