춘천시, 고유가 대응 ‘농업용 면세유’ 지원 확대 적극 검토

17일 춘천시에 따르면, 시는 현재 관내 농업경영체 등록 농가를 대상으로 휘발유, 경유, 등유, 중유, LPG 등 농업용 면세유류 구입 시 리터당 150원의 보조금을 매년 12월에 지원하고 있다.

하지만 연일 이어지는 고유가 사태로 농가의 시름이 깊어지자, 시는 선제적 대응을 위해 현행 리터당 150원인 지원 단가를 상향 조정하는 방안을 심도 있게 논의 중이다. 추가 지원에 필요한 재원은 시비를 증액해 마련할 방침이며, 이를 올해 제3회 추가경정예산에 신속히 반영할 계획이다.

육동한 춘천시장은 최근 열린 국·소장단 회의에서 “고유가 장기화로 인해 직격탄을 맞은 농가의 경영 부담 완화가 매우 시급하다”며, “면세유 추가 지원을 포함해 다양한 현장 여건을 세밀하게 고려한 시 차원의 실효성 있는 대책을 적극 마련하라”고 강력히 주문했다.
