대전 유성구가 충남대와 KAIST 사이 1km 구간인 어은·궁동(어궁동)을 첨단 창업 메카로 본격 육성한다. 기존 테스트베드와 혁신포럼의 성과를 바탕으로 창업펀드 조성부터 청년 정주까지 종합 지원 패키지를 17일 발표했다.
유성구는 공공·민간 자본을 결집한 '유성 창업펀드'를 출범시켜 스타트업의 안정적 자금 조달을 돕는다.
전국 최초 테스트베드 사업을 업그레이드한 '실증 연계 혁신성장 패키지'도 도입, 기술 검증에서 공공조달·입점 컨설팅까지 연결해 실질 매출로 이어지게 한다.
안녕센터·청년지원센터 중심으로 로컬 크리에이터 양성 '도심 속 캠퍼스'를 확대하고, 창업 공간과 주거를 결합한 '청년특화주택'도 추진한다.
2023년부터 운영 중인 어궁혁신포럼(대전창조경제센터·창업진흥원·테크노파크·대학·로컬 커뮤니티 참여)과 스타트업 커피챗 등 네트워킹도 강화된다.

Daejeon Yuseong-gu is set to fully develop Eoeun-dong and Gung-dong (Eogung-dong), a 1km stretch between Chungnam National University and KAIST, into a hub for high-tech startups.
