주요 교육내용은 경운기, 관리기, 예취기 등 소형 농업기계를 중심으로 한 자가 점검·정비 실습 교육이다. 특히 농업기계 사고 예방을 위해 안전 기술 교육도 함께 강화할 계획이다.
또한 농업인 경제적 부담을 줄이기 위한 실질적인 지원도 이어진다. 수리 시 발생하는 소모성 부품 대금 중 농업기계 1대당 10,000원 이하의 금액은 전액 공제되며, 초과 금액에 대해서만 실비를 징수한다.
