18일 가평군에 따르면, 군은 복권기금을 핵심 재원으로 삼아 ‘2026년 경기도 청소년 생활장학금’ 신청을 오는 27일까지 전격 접수한다고 밝혔다.
이번 생활장학금은 도내 중·고등학생 및 학교 밖 청소년들의 무거운 경제적 부담을 덜어주기 위한 맞춤형 복지 사업이다. 꼼꼼한 심사를 거쳐 대상자로 선정된 중학생에게는 연간 100만 원, 고등학생에게는 150만 원의 장학금이 상·하반기에 절반씩 나뉘어 파격적으로 지급된다.
신청 자격은 신청일 기준 경기도 내에 주민등록을 두고 있는 기초생활보장수급자, 법정 차상위계층, 법정 한부모가족, 그리고 땀 흘려 일하는 노동청소년 등이다. 군은 신청자들의 편의를 극대화하기 위해 경기민원24(gg24.gg.go.kr)를 통한 온라인 접수를 원칙으로 하되, 부득이한 경우 주소지 관할 읍면 행정복지센터를 직접 방문해 신청할 수 있도록 창구를 열어두었다.
