17일부터 이틀간 초·중·고 담당 교사 대상 연수 실시
학생참여예산제 및 선순환 체제 구축 등 현장 중심 사례 공유

대전광역시교육청이 학생들의 주도성을 높이고 학교 운영의 실질적인 주체로 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 학생자치활동 활성화에 본격적으로 나섰다.
이를 위해 대전시교육청은 3월 17일부터 18일까지 이틀간 대전교육정보원 다목적 강당에서 관내 초·중·고·특수·각종학교의 학생자치활동 담당 교사들을 대상으로 ‘2026학년도 역량 강화 연수’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 연수는 급변하는 교육 패러다임에 발맞춰 학생 스스로 정책을 제안하고 실행하는 ‘학생 주도성’ 신장의 필요성을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.
특히 학생들의 목소리가 학교 정책에 실질적으로 반영되는 ‘학생참여 선순환 체제’를 구축하는 데 중점을 두어 단위 학교의 자치 역량을 끌어올리는 데 집중했다.
연수 프로그램은 이론 중심에서 벗어나 학교 현장에서 즉각 적용 가능한 실천 사례 위주로 짜였다. 주요 내용은 학생참여예산제 운영 방안, 학생자치 및 매니페스토 우수사례 공유, 선순환 체제 구축 전략 등이다.
첫날 1부 강연자로 나선 신탄중앙중학교 신성철 교사는 ‘학생참여예산제 선순환 체제 구축’을 주제로 학생들의 아이디어가 예산 집행으로 이어지는 구체적인 프로세스를 설명했다.
이어지는 2부에서는 학교급별 특성을 고려해 17일에는 대전자운초 김수연 교사가, 18일에는 대전만년고 서유정 교사가 각각 ‘우리 학교 이야기’를 주제로 실제 운영 사례와 매니페스토 실천 노하우를 발표해 참석 교사들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
김남규 대전시교육청 미래생활교육과장은 참여와 협력을 통해 시민 역량을 갖춘 미래 인재를 길러내는 데 있어 학생자치활동의 역할은 매우 핵심적이라며, 이번 연수가 교사들의 운영 역량을 높이는 소중한 계기가 되길 바란다고 전했다.
