[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 2026 코리아국제스트리밍페스티벌(KISF 2026)이 오는 6월 18~ 21일까지 부산 영화의전당 일원에서 개최된다.
과학기술정보통신부와 부산광역시가 공동 주최하고, (사)코리아국제스트리밍페스티벌과 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 공동 주관하는 이번 행사는 전 세계 OTT 시리즈와 리얼리티 쇼, FAST(광고 기반 무료 스트리밍), 엔터테크 등 스트리밍 기반 콘텐츠와 기술을 한자리에서 선보이는 국내 최대 규모의 글로벌 뉴미디어 축제다.
지난해 단독 개최를 통해 미디어와 기술 융합의 장을 마련했다는 평가를 받은 데 이어, 올해는 행사명을 변경하며 국가 단위 플랫폼으로서의 브랜드 정체성을 강화했다.
행사의 핵심인 ‘2026 글로벌OTT어워즈’는 2월 25일부터 오는 3월 25일까지 전 세계 스트리밍 콘텐츠를 대상으로 출품 공모를 진행한다. 시상식은 6월 20일 오후 7시 영화의전당 루프씨어터에서 열리며, 베스트 크리에이티브와 베스트 OTT 오리지널 등 총 19개(경쟁 14, 초청 5) 부문에서 한 해의 성과를 조명한다.
주최 측은 이번 페스티벌을 통해 국내외 스트리밍 생태계의 흐름을 조망하고 K-콘텐츠의 글로벌 확산과 차세대 미디어 혁신에 관한 논의를 확장할 계획이다. 상세한 행사 정보는 공식 홈페이지를 통해 순차적으로 공개한다.

The 2026 Global OTT Awards a central highlight of the festival is currently accepting submissions from streaming content worldwide until March 25 The awards ceremony will be held on June 20 at 7 PM at the Busan Cinema Center Roof Theater Honoring achievements in 19 categories including Best Creative and Best OTT Original the ceremony will highlight the top performances of the year
