이날 기념식에는 김미성 가평부군수, 임광현 도의원, 김경수 군의장을 비롯한 주요 내빈과 의용소방대원, 소방공무원 등 약 120여 명이 대거 참석해 자리를 빛냈다. 행사는 화려한 식전 기념공연을 시작으로 기념사, 유공자 표창 수여, 내빈 축사 순으로 다채롭게 진행되며 대원들의 땀방울을 되돌아보는 감동의 시간을 선사했다.
