양 기관은 18일 업무협약을 맺고, 지역 특성에 맞춘 ‘대구형 통합돌봄’ 교육 기반을 넓히는 한편, 현장 중심 서비스 체계도 한층 강화해 나가기로 했다.
이번 협약은 최근 「의료·요양 등 지역돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률」이 시행됨에 따라, 통합돌봄 전문기관으로 지정된 대구행복진흥원이 지역 대학과 협력해 교육과 사업을 유기적으로 연계하기 위해 추진됐다.
협약 체결로 두 기관은 앞으로 통합돌봄 체계 구축을 위한 다양한 교육과 사업, 정책 이해도를 높이기 위한 교육, 민간 사회서비스 제공기관 및 돌봄 종사자 대상 교육 프로그램 공동 운영 등에 함께 나설 계획이다.
대구행복진흥원은 정책 지원과 현장 네트워크를 기반으로 교육 수요를 발굴하고 사업을 총괄한다. 대구보건대학교는 보건·복지 분야의 교육 인프라를 바탕으로 교육 과정 개발과 운영을 담당하게 된다.
양 기관은 이번 협력을 통해 돌봄 종사자의 전문성을 높이고, 현장 서비스의 품질 또한 한 단계 끌어올리겠다는 목표다.
최희재 대구행복진흥원장 직무대행은 “대학과의 협력을 통해 돌봄 인력의 전문성을 강화하고, 시민이 체감할 수 있는 통합돌봄 서비스를 구축하겠다”고 말했다.
