경북소방본부는 지난 3월 13일 경주 화백컨벤션센터에서 제2차 소방지휘관 회의를 열고, 봄철 화재 예방 및 대응 방안을 집중 논의했다고 밝혔다.
이날 회의에는 이철우 경북도지사와 박성열 소방본부장을 비롯해 소방본부 간부와 도내 전 소방서장이 참석해 주요 현안과 정책 추진 상황을 점검했다.
이번 대책은 건조한 날씨와 강풍으로 화재 발생 위험이 높아지는 봄철 특성을 반영해 마련됐으며, 산불 예방과 화재 취약시설 안전관리, 도민 참여형 예방활동 강화에 중점을 두고 추진된다.
주요 내용으로는 ▲산림 인접 마을 대상 1일 2회 이상 예방 순찰 ▲불법 소각행위 집중 단속 및 계도 ▲비상소화장치 점검 및 주민 참여훈련 ▲공동주택 등 주거시설 안전관리 강화 ▲화목보일러 안전점검 ▲해빙기 건설현장 화재 안전관리 ▲요양병원·요양원 등 다중이용시설 합동 안전조사 등이 포함됐다.
특히 의용소방대를 중심으로 한 ‘마을담당제’를 운영하고, 드론을 활용한 산불 조기 탐지와 산불신속대응팀을 가동해 초기 대응 역량을 강화할 계획이다. 주거취약시설과 노후 공동주택에는 단독경보형 감지기 보급과 대피계획 수립을 병행해 인명 피해 최소화에도 주력한다.
이와 함께 SNS 챌린지와 체험형 안전교육, 지역 축제 연계 홍보부스 운영 등 참여형 홍보를 확대해 도민의 자발적인 안전문화 정착을 유도할 방침이다.
