【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구가 대구시가 주관한 2025년 구·군 안전시책 종합평가에서 ‘우수기관’에 이름을 올렸다.
이번 평가는 생활에 밀접한 안전시책 추진 실적부터 비상 대비 역량, 시설물 선제 관리, 재난 대응, 중대재해 예방 등 모두 5개 분야를 종합적으로 심사해 이뤄졌다.
수성구는 시 합동점검과 안전관리자문단 운영, 현장 대응 매뉴얼 구축, 안전한국훈련, 재난관리 자원훈련, 상황 전파 훈련 등 다양한 부문에서 고른 평가를 받았다. 특히 민간 다중이용시설과 재난취약시설에 대한 점검을 한층 강화해 현장 대응력을 끌어올린 점이 주효했던 것으로 알려졌다.
2024년에는 대구 최초로 재난안전상황실을 구축한 점도 주요 평가 요인으로 꼽힌다. 구는 이를 통해 재난 발생 초기 대응과 비상 상황 전파 속도를 높이고, 주민 대피 체계도 정비하는 등 선제적인 대응 기반을 마련해왔다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “구민의 안전과 행복을 항상 최우선 가치로 삼으며, 앞으로도 대응 체계를 꾸준히 보완해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
