영춘면은 지난 18일 오전 10시, 이장협의회(회장 최순철), 새마을남녀협의회(회장 이창대), 주민자치위원회(위원장 문종우), 청년회(회장 우성철) 등 지역 단체 회원과 주민 100여 명이 참여한 가운데 산불 예방 캠페인을 전개했다고 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 봄철 건조한 날씨와 강한 바람 등으로 산불 발생 위험이 높아지는 시기를 맞아, 불법 소각의 위험성을 알리고 산불 예방에 대한 주민들의 경각심을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
참가자들은 마을 주민들에게 논·밭두렁 및 영농부산물 소각 금지, 생활 속 화기 취급 주의, 산불 발생 시 신속한 신고 요령 등 산불 예방 수칙을 적극 안내하며 지역사회의 자발적인 동참을 당부했다.
