이날 군은 고용주와 함께 괴산군 농업기술센터 3층 회의실에서 계절근로자들의 입국을 환영하고 안정적인 정착을 지원하기 위해 입국 환영식을 개최했다.
이어 군은 고용주 필수 준수사항 교육과 근로자 맞춤형 오리엔테이션을 진행했다.
라오스 근로자 89명은 관내 31개 농가로 이동해 농작업을 돕는다.
20일에는 캄보디아 계절근로자 153명이 입국해 54개 농가에 배치되며 농번기 농촌 인력 부족 문제 해결에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
