유병로 전 대전연구원장 위원장 선임, 전문가 및 시민 대표 40인 구성

국민의힘 대전광역시당(위원장 이은권)이 19일 오는 6월 실시하는 제9회 전국동시지방선거를 겨냥해 시민들의 실생활과 밀접한 혁신 공약을 발굴하기 위한 ‘대전이 달라지는 생활공약 TF’를 전격 가동했다고 밝혔다.
이번 TF의 수장으로는 대전연구원장을 역임하며 지역 정책 전문가로 정평이 난 유병로 국립한밭대학교 명예교수가 선임됐다.
TF는 전·현직 교수 등 각 분야 전문가를 비롯해 대학생, 직장인, 주부, 소상공인, 시민단체 관계자 등 사회 각계각층을 대변하는 40명의 위원으로 구성되어 현장의 생생한 목소리를 정책에 녹여낼 예정이다.
국민의힘 대전시당은 이번 TF 출범의 배경으로 과거의 선언적이고 전시행정 위주였던 공약들에 대한 통렬한 반성을 꼽았다. 시민들의 실제 삶과 괴리된 ‘보여주기식’ 정책에서 벗어나, 시민들이 일상에서 겪는 불편함을 직접적으로 해결할 수 있는 ‘체감형 공약’을 우선순위에 두겠다는 전략이다.
이은권 시당위원장은 출범식에서 “이제는 화려한 수사가 아닌 실질적인 결과로 시민들의 평가를 받겠다”며 강력한 쇄신 의지를 피력했다.
이 위원장은 이어 “시민들이 ‘내 삶이 정말 바뀌었다’고 느낄 수 있는 변화를 만들어내는 것이 최우선 과제”라며 “생활을 바꾸는 공약과 실천하는 정치를 통해 시민의 신뢰를 두텁게 쌓아가겠다”고 강조했다.
