대전시교육청이 20일 교육청 회의실에서 지역 유관기관 관계자들과 함께 ‘2026년 대전 마음건강협의체 제1차 운영협의회’를 열고, 학생 정서·심리 지원을 위한 협력 체계 강화 방안을 논의했다.
이번 협의회는 학교 부적응이나 정서적 위기를 겪는 학생을 지역사회가 함께 지원할 수 있는 협업 기반을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
마음건강협의체는 대전시교육청 학생마음건강지원센터(동·서부)를 중심으로 대전시청, 청소년상담복지센터, 정신건강복지센터 등 기관 전문가들이 참여해 2025년부터 운영 중이다.
이날 회의의 핵심 안건은 ‘병원형 위(Wee) 센터’ 구축 방안이었다. 이 센터는 전문의의 임상 치료와 출석 인정 교육을 결합해 고위험군 학생의 학업 단절을 막고, 치료와 교육이 동시에 이뤄지는 통합 모델을 지향한다.
또한 교육청은 실제 사례를 기반으로 한 위기 대응 매뉴얼인 ‘청소년 마음이음길’ 적용 사례를 공유하며, 기관 간 협력 절차를 구체화하고 개선 방향을 함께 논의했다.
대전시교육청 관계자는 “위기 학생 지원은 교육청의 행정지원과 병원의 전문의료가 맞물릴 때 비로소 효과를 낼 수 있다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 지속적으로 소통하며 학생들의 마음건강을 지키는 촘촘한 지원망을 만들겠다”고 말했다.
