브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 효성은 지난 19일 서울 마포구 대한적십자사 마포봉사나눔터에서 취약계층 지원을 위한 ‘사랑의 밑반찬’ 봉사활동을 진행했다고 20일 밝혔다.
이날 효성 임직원들은 제육볶음, 호박전, 나박김치 등 다양한 밑반찬을 직접 만들고 포장해 지역 내 취약계층에 전달했다.
‘사랑의 밑반찬’ 사업은 효성이 대한적십자사와 함께 2005년부터 21년째 이어오고 있는 사회공헌 프로그램이다. 마포구 내 노인, 아동·청소년, 이주민 등 취약계층의 결식을 예방하고 균형 잡힌 식생활을 지원하기 위해 매주 1회 밑반찬을 제작·전달하고 있다.
또한, 명절과 동지, 정월대보름 등 절기에는 삼계탕, 팥죽, 떡국 등 특식을 추가로 제공해 취약계층의 정서적 소외감 완화에도 힘쓰고 있다. 대한적십자사 봉사원들은 정기적인 가정 방문을 통해 정서적·심리적 돌봄을 제공하며, 대상자들의 생활 상황을 지속적으로 살피고 있다.
