인천시의회 산업경제위원회 소속 이명규 의원(국·부평구1)이 대표발의한 ‘인천광역시 지식재산의 진흥에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’과 ‘인천광역시 기업활동 지원에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’이 지난 19일 열린 ‘제307회 임시회’ 소관 상임위원회(산업경제위원회)에서 각각 원안가결됐다.
이번 두 개정안은 지역 기업의 지식재산 경쟁력을 높이고, 우수한 지식재산 성과를 보유한 기업에 대한 지원을 보다 체계적으로 마련하기 위한 취지에서 발의됐다.
먼저 ‘인천광역시 지식재산의 진흥에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’은 지식재산 우수기업을 발굴·평가해 선정할 수 있는 근거와 절차를 마련하는 내용을 담고 있다.
개정안에는 지역 기업의 지식재산 경쟁력을 강화하고, 지식재산 기반 산업의 진흥을 체계적으로 지원하겠다는 취지가 담겼다.
