(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 3월 12일부터 19일까지 12개 동을 순회하며 진행한 2026년 상반기 구청장 동방문 ‘생생계양통 윤환이 답한다’를 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 이번 동방문은 구민과의 직접 소통을 강화하고 현장의 목소리를 구정 운영에 반영하기 위해 추진됐다.
계양구는 주요 사업 설명을 통해 구정 추진 방향을 공유하고, 구민과의 대화 시간을 통해 생활 불편 사항부터 지역 현안까지 다양한 의견을 청취했다.
특히, 이번 동방문에서는 총 1,000여 명의 구민이 참여한 가운데 생활 불편 민원, 교통 개선 및 주차 문제, 도시재생 및 재개발·재건축, 도로 개설 및 정비, 집중호우 침수 대비 등 다양한 분야에서 건의사항 114여 건이 접수됐다.
계양구는 접수된 건의사항에 대해 소관 부서 검토를 거쳐 처리계획을 수립하고, 생활 밀착형 민원은 신속히 조치하는 한편, 중장기 검토가 필요한 사안은 단계적으로 구정에 반영해 나갈 계획이다.
윤환 구청장은 “이번 동방문을 통해 구민 여러분의 다양한 목소리를 직접 들을 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었다.”며 “구민과 함께 만들어 온 변화의 흐름을 이어, 남은 기간에도 더 살기 좋은 계양을 만들어 가는 데 힘을 쏟겠다.”고 말했다.

Gyeyang-gu announced that it has successfully concluded the 2026 first half District Mayor’s Dong visits, titled ‘Saengsaeng Gyeyang-tong: Yun Hwan Answers,’ which were conducted by touring 12 neighborhoods from March 12 to 19.
According to Gyeyang-gu, these visits were organized to strengthen direct communication with residents and to reflect voices from the field in the operation of district administration. The district shared the direction of district administration through explanations of major projects and listened to various opinions, ranging from daily inconveniences to local issues, during dialogue sessions with residents.
In particular, during this neighborhood visit, approximately 1,000 residents participated, and around 114 suggestions were received across various fields, including complaints regarding daily inconveniences, traffic improvements and parking issues, urban regeneration, redevelopment, and reconstruction, road construction and maintenance, and preparations for flooding caused by heavy rainfall.
